Mission Accomplished.

One of the things that really touches me from those who read my book is that they always say, "This is the first book I've sat down and read all the way through in years."

And honestly? That's why I write.

We live in an era where it's much easier to grab our phones and doomscroll for hours on social media while telling ourselves we don't have the time or bandwidth to read a book anymore. If I can be one of the authors providing the type of story that will keep people seated from beginning to end, to foster the love of reading books in them once more?

It's an honor.

I did it!

I created a website.

I haven't done one of these since AOL was still on dial-up and Geocities was relevant. I definitely do not have it in me to mess around with CSS like I used to anymore, either.

I also wrote a book. This is also important, since that is the purpose of this site.

I'm both nervous and excited to share my vision with the world in this way. It's a different feel than my usual thing of posting up trash fiction without a care. This is the first original story I brainstormed, outlined, and wrote out. While I'm confident in my writing abilities, I now have a hope that it will reach the people it needs to reach.

I know I can't bring back the new adult fantasy genre by myself, let alone in the diverse way I've embarked upon it, but it feels good to be just one drop in the ocean of published literature.
